INVREFRESH004 (RFRSH_UNIT_NUMBER)

Specify the number of units to refresh per transaction in the unit maintenance background job (on page 1).

If you experience database deadlocks errors while the unit maintenance background job runs, this setting along with INVREFRESH005 (RFRSH_THREAD_NUMBER) (on page 1) allows you to reduce the number of units that are locked while the job runs. By reducing the number of units that are locked, you reduce the chance for deadlocks to occur.

By default, the job will lock 2000 units at a time. This is the number of units (500) multiplied by the number of JVM threads that run concurrently (4).

Default: 500

Minimum: 100

Maximum: 1000
